Well really the AJ-EC3 is only about 1/3rd smaller, half the weight, and has half the blinking lights. It isn’t that much less bulky and does half as much. You’re losing a lot to save maybe 2″ for width. Its the same height and depth.

    Hi,

Please remember the two remotes are not interchangeble. The RC10G will only work with the AJ-HDX900 and will not connect to any other camera at present. The EC3 will not work with the HDX900 but is intended to work with all other DVCPRO camcorders including the VariCam.

    Thanks,

Hi, Can someone explain me if it is possible to get an EC3 to work with the HPX300 series? We have one lying around, but I don’t seem to get it up and running out of the box. Maybe I’m doing something wrong.

The units reacts with lights though, but the camera seems to ignore changes.
