  AJ 1200a Issues

  I just finished a shoot using the Varicam and am having a deck/capture issue with the 1200a.

  I can capture from the deck to the computer fine. But, when I record back to the deck (final output), I cannot re-capture what i just recorded to the deck. i know the deck captured it, because i can monitor it, but Premiere isn’t seeing the recorded data. If I pop in any other tape that was recorded on by the camera, it shows instantly. This concerns me if I ever need to re-import a finished project for re-purposing. Is there a mode on the deck that I must switch? I don’t believe it to be a software issue and I didn’t have any extra tapes to try (in case i had a faulty tape). Does anyone have any insight into this?

  My comp is a hardcore, custom built PC (insert heckle here) running the decklink HD Pro card and Adobe suite.
