  The Clarity Vari-speed was a hoot to work with.

  We just did a one day shoot with our Varicam and the Clarity Varispeed. It was very easy to use and only took a few minutes to figure it out.
  For our shoot we were able to speed ramp 60fps down to 4 fps in .7 seconds and then back to 60fps. It had four F keys that we could program for start FPS, ending FPS and the duration of the speed change or how long it took to go from 60 to 4fps. Very smooth and a real joy to work with.
  We found two vendors that had the unit for rental, Fletcher and Film and Video in Denver. Both had the unit at $150/day.
