I’m Still Using DV-X100 Camera with AY-DVM63MQ (ME) DVM63 Tape.
I have a 20 hour event coming up.
For starters I’m seeing that the “Master” AY-DVM63MQ (ME) DVM63 Tapes are being discontinued. I’m wondering if there is an alternative to these Master Tapes.
Also Since this camera is so old the Digital DV direct Capture devices available are limited. I could ountly fint the Focus Enhancements FS-H200 Pro unit available with 32GB Memory cards. Is this a possible solution?
I’d be in to it for over $1k for that solution.
I’m editing with Sony Vegas Pro 6. and I know I need to get a new camera pretty soon but just can’t do that right now.
What would you all recommend regarding Tapes for this Camera and if anyone is aware of a good pricing source for the Tapes Please let me know about that as well. I’m finding limited availability on the FSH 200 Pro as well.

TapeOnline.com has some options that may fit what you are looking for. Prices vary but they do have several that are specifically denoted as “Master.” Unfortunately I can’t really speak to personal experience with these tape stocks but TapeOnline is great.
