  Questions about NP-1 style batteries for DVCPRO50 camcorder

  Hi There

  Not sure if this is the correct forum for it or not.

  I’m wondering whether the camera I use is combatible with these batteries: https://www.globalmediapro.com/dp/A00XK8/Globalmediapro-Li65N-Lithium-ion-Battery-65WH/

  I’ve got a AJ-D910WA DVCPRO50 Camera which has a Sony NP-1 battery adapter on it. We’re currently using these batteries to power the camera: https://master-instruments.com.au/products/55577/SP1B.html

  However with the amount of field production we do, the batteries are running for average of 15 mins, before dropping down to 5 min or less after a few charges. (We discharge them before recharging)

  You need an external or alternative way of powering your camera. Check out Anton Bauer Gold Mount Plate and a battery that has the same voltage with the current you use and it will last long time. Using cheap batteries will only make it difficult.
