Posted by Rafael Amador on September 12, 2011 at 10:39 pmI would like to have feedback about this optic for the AF-100, for just one lens works.
Thanks in advance.

September 13, 2011 at 1:21 amYeah that’s a solid one size lens- bit slow though. Then again so are all zooms. If you’re outdoors or with plenty of lighting- no sweat.

September 13, 2011 at 11:14 pmThanks for the info Noah.
For me changing lenses is seldom an option. I don’t want to iss my choice.
BTW, if you know of another good option, please advice me.
Thanks,

September 15, 2011 at 3:13 pmThe Panasonic lenses are not very good in low light.
You can also go with either Canon L-Series or Nikon lenses. Great glass and quality lenses.
I wouldn’t buy any lens above 2.8. I have the canon L-Series 24-70 2.8 and 70-200 L-Series. These two lenses cover most of my shooting. I also have a 50mm 1.4 and 50mm macro. I use these on my 7D and 5D mkII, but with an adapter you can use these on the AF-100

September 16, 2011 at 2:49 pmI agree with all of you but the 14-140 lens is free and for exteriors and controlled lighting video work it works great.
You can get depth of field too. You can also purchase for about 340. the lumix 50 mm pancake lens which works great.
Personally I have a collection of canon fd lens and I am considering the olympus 12-40 2.0 zoom lens about 2300.

September 17, 2011 at 8:53 amHi Brent & Richard,
Thanks for the feedback.I’ve been going through most of the stuff and I found that there is not any other lens in this range giving
3.5/5.6. Yes, those lenses are never fast enough, but this one is the faster one.I work mostly alone and carrying or changing lenses is not an option.
I need a lens for all situations and I think this is the one.
In the future I will add some 35mm stuff.
Cheers,
rafael
