  Audio always linked & in stereo? Why

  Shooting with Panasonic HMC 150 – editing using FCP 6.0.5 –

  is there a setting on “log & transfer” i need to change?

  Bill,

  This is an annoying feature of the transfer to ProRes from AVCHD. A simple un-checking of the ‘linked stereo pair’ in fcp will enable you to modify independent audio tracks. This seems to be the easiest, and only fix I’ve found.
