toast 9 conversion
Hello,
1.) I am using Toast 9 to convert my .mts files for use in FCE4, however, all my conversions are coming out in letterbox? Has anyone had similar experience and could someone recommend a fix? I’m probably needing to change a setting, but which one (new to this program and camera)?
Also,
2.) Does anyone have suggestions as to what export settings(toast 9) would best suit clips destined to be edited in FCE4 for web video? I hope this question is not to general 🙂

Not sure- not a big Toast guy. Have you tried MPEG-Streamclip instead?

Hey Noah,
I thought MPEG-Streamclip was unable to handle AVCHD? I have used it for SD stuff and it worked great converting DV to MP4…Have you heard of people using this to convert AVCHD? Thanks for the quick response…your all over it! 🙂
