Panasonic DVX 100 Focus Ring
Help! My camera took a spill and the manual focus is not working. The focus ring just spins around like it lost the gears. It still works in autofocus but I need to roll focus sometimes. I took the ring off of the lense and couldn’t find anything that looked broken. Any ideas.

Ouch- I’d imagine something inside was dislodged. I’d take it in to a service center for repair.

Thanks, fortunately I’m still shooting with it as a second camera but it needs some serious tlc. Do you know of any service manuals available?

What you mean to fix it yourself? Um sure I suppose you could call Panasonic but I can pretty much guarantee you unless you happen to have access to a clean room you’ll ruin your camera’s lens the moment you pop it open.
