Just wanted to make sure I’m doing this right.

I’m making stuff in PS to take into AE. I’m working in widescreen (PAL) so I wanna make sure that the PS document is the same size. Can I just use the PS widescreen preset and then take it into AE or do I use the preset in PS and then Interperet footage as widescreen in AE? Just wanted to make sure as this is for a competion for eventual broadcast. Just dipping my toes in!!

    Cheers

    Loz

1024×576 is ideal for square pixel aspect ratio work – ie. on your computer. Only at the last step in AE, prior to rendering would you drop your 1024×576 comps into the PAL Widescreen Preset.

AE will then automatically conform the 1024×576 comps to fit the widescreen preset.
