    Hi Dear AE users,

I have a Q, which maybe some of you have experience with:

I’m standing in between an 27inch iMac with i7 processor and FusionDrive.
And on the other side a Hackintosh Beast, with 12TB internal storage plus 250GB SSD disk, NVidea 680 graphics card.
Anybody has information, concerning speed of those two machines and how After Effects works on them?
    (And also PPro?)

    Greetings,

    Sascha

Does it have to be a Hackintosh? I added PCs to my shop a year and a half ago, and I’ve been really, really happy.

Can you provide some processor and RAM specs on each computer you’re considering? These are of primary importance to Ae.

No, I am more than pleased with the performance of the Hackintosh. Besides, I worked all my life on MAC and I am afraid I am not ready in this moment for a new operating system.
