I’ve been trying all morning to replicate the effect found on the text “.co.tv” in this clip:

    https://youtu.be/43QKd11vrvs?t=3m32s

I have the text wiping left to right just fine, but I can’t seem to emulate the “glowing” trail of the wipe no matter what I try.

Any suggestions? Plug-ins or templates I could try? Thanks.

edit: The mentioned text is at 3:32 if the video doesn’t load at the point like its supposed to.

Hyped-up glows can be created by creating an Adjustment Layer and adding Fractal Noise. Then animate Fractal Noise and set the Adjustment Layer’s Blending Mode to Add. Use a Linear Wipe with a high feather value to wipe on the glow.
