I am about to purchase a DVX100 and have noticed a few hundred dollars difference between the 100P 100AP and 100BP, other than the fact that the A and B are the newer and newest models of the P, what is the difference? Will the B shoot better picture than the A or P? If I want to make serious, professional videos is it worth spending the money for the B or should I spend the money on lenses? Also what is a good amount of metered hours for a camera like this? Any info would be appreciated as I will be purchasing one in the next couple days, Thanks

The A has major updates over the original. The b adds more subtle changes and some environmental/material improvements. As the B models are the only new one’s still being made you should try and get a B. Beware grey imports and used stock on the A market.
