  • audio ‘hiccups’ when exporting from FCP to DVX100a

    Hello out there,

So I’m done editing and want to Master to minidv tape. I’m (temporarily) using my dvx100a as the record deck since my old sony GVD300 minidv finally kicked the bucket. Now, I’m getting slight audio “hiccups”…basically loosing audio for an 1/8 of a seconds every 3 or four minutes (and more randomly).

I don’t believe this is a FCP or processor speed issue, since I used to master to the gvd300 for over 5 years without this problem. Anyone know of settings in the dvx100a ‘record menu’ that might fix this problem?

Thanks for any help you might be able to give.

    Regards,
