    Hi,

I shot a documentary with a rented NTSC AG-DVX100A. My second unit camera was a non 24P DV camera.

So, I want to edit in a 29.97 timeline in FCP and use both formats.

I know that the 24P should be digitized at 29.97 when capturing.

My question is: I no longer have the rented camera and the producer has run out of funds for another rental.

Is it possible to use a non 24P DV camera to digitize 24P shot footage into FCP at 29.97?

Or do I have to a the AG-DVX100A camera to do it?

    Any information is truly appreciated.
    Thank You.

Nope- any DV deck or camera can do it because it’s just DV.
