    Hi all-
I was shooting on some sticks this weekend and, when the sticks werent fully expanded and the base, the tripod fell forward and my camera (Panasonic AG-DVX100) hit lens-first and the plastic which says LEICA DICOMAR on the side snapped off. It appears that my focus ring is broken, and it will not snap back in. Does anyone know which parts i can order from Panasonic to put this back together and can I do it myself? If anyone has any ideas PLEASE shoot me an email at nicco@qcamproductions.com. I need to take care of this; I have shoots this weekend already lined up and obviously my gear needs to be up and running for them!

Thanks so much in advance to anyone who can help!

I’d suggest sending to a Panasonic service center for proper repair. There’s contact info in your manual. If you have a shoot in a few days it’s time for some duct tape. 🙂

    Send it in for repair

    Rent one for the weekend.

The factory repair center will do the job correctly. Trying to fix a lens related item is not a good idea.
