Where can i get good ink stock footage to do smooth ink transitions?
I know what I would do with the stock footage to do the actual transition, but I don’t seem to be able to find any Ink footage or any tutorials on how to create ink using maybe trapcode particular or some other program that would act like this.

The transition(s) I want to create can be seen from :41 seconds to :57 seconds. I think a serious problem with my search is that perhaps this is not a transition created with ink? Or that perhaps i am lacking the correct terminology for this type of transition so that I can find guides on how to recreate it.

Look for motion designers toolkit its somewhere in volume 5,6, or 7. They have movie samples for everything on their site.

You could also quickly animate some fractal noise and create those types of pattern and use it as a track matte if you wanted to save a few bucks.

I’m with John on this – you don’t push your skills forward by buying stock footage (unless you’re really pressed for time). Fractal Noise is definitely the way to go – once you get close to something you like, start using the Brainstorm tool, and you’ll nail it quickly. The transition on that sample are moving so quickly that it’s really hard to tell if they’re any good or not, so they’re getting the job done.
