  P2 clips showing up as “No Name” after they were conslidated to an external hd.

  I’m hoping that someone can shed some light on this problem.

  I consolidated some files from a P2 card using a panasonic hpx170 to an external hard drive and viewed the new copies, no issues. I have now gone back into the Bin (a couple of days later) and all the files are coming up as “No Name” not the external hd name and the media is offline.

  I can’t understand how this has happened as I now have an old version and new version of the clips in the Bin reading “No Name”. How can I get the footage back?

  Any help is greatly appreciated as I’m going out of my mind.
