  How to transfer P2 cards without theLastclip.TXT?

  Hi-
  I created the folder for the P2 Card on a mac Dual 2 GHZ PowerPC G5 with 10.5.8 but I did not transfer the lastclip.txt for each card.( the cards were erased)
  I am getting in FCP 6.06 a prompt that it is unsupported media.
  Is there a way I can fix my mistake and get the files into FCP?
  I have other LASTCLIP.TXT files and tried pasting one into the current folder with contents. It did not work.

  Do a google search and somewhere out there is a tutorial on how to recreate the LastClip.txt

  There other options but they will cost you money.

  Next time, please consider ShotPut Pro, this will do all the copying for you with verification.

  Thank you for the response.
  I will google.
  As a back up what are the options that cost money?
  I read that Avid systems do not need the LASTClIP.TXT file.
  You can create quicktime movies and use these in Final Cut.
  We have shot in the Chicago area. Good to know you are there.

  FCP doesnt need LASTCLIP.txt either. Please take a screen grab of your file structure.
