Apologies in advance if this has been posted already, but I havent found the answer yet. Im fairly new to the P2 workflow, and we are optimizing our older systems as best as we can. Ive been given some beautiful footage from a producer, and if possible, want to ‘steal’ the scene file settings that were used. It was shot on the same camera as ours, so that shouldnt be an issue. I simply dont know if or where I could find that data with just the card, card reader, or clip itself. Any suggestions?
    Thanks

[Dixon Johnston] “and if possible, want to ‘steal’ the scene file settings that were used.”

That metadata is not on the clips, but you can kindly ask your producer to save the scene file from the camera and send as a text file.

Jeremy, thanks for the reply. I thought that might be the case, but wanted to consult the experts here first.

Well, as soon as they show up, I’m sure you’ll get your answer. 😀
