  Mixing Varicam 720/30P and P2 720/30PN?

  I’m starting a project that will be mixing Varicam footage shot on tape at 59.94/30P, and P2 material.

  I’d love to shoot the HPX/HVX stuff 30PN to save space and make on-set transfers less frequent. Any issues with this? What would happen when I drop the 30PN material into a 59.94 timeline in FCP?

  Proper 2:2 pulldown will get added. You can also go the other way and capture your Varicam material and remove the pulldown on capture leaving you with 30p media.
