  double exposure effect with video

  Hi guys, I’m doing a short experimental video thats only for a minute. One part of it has like a double layer, where a person walks down one path, while the same person also walks down another simultaneously.

  So I just filmed it twice and over layered it and brought opacity down. One thing is they look like ghosts, but I can deal with this, another thing is I would like to add streaks.. that give an impression of where they have walked.. like a fake time lapse….

  Try the underutilized echo effect https://help.adobe.com/en_US/aftereffects/cs/using/WS09B6A698-8F9E-4a00-8D1B-07FC62FB2D30a.html#WS3878526689cb91655866c1103a9d3c597-7a57a while the trail isn’t as “blended” as you say you may like, it’s a starting point to see if you’ll even like the effect.
