  Panasonic HVX 200 frame rate issues

  I recently borrowed an HVX200 from my school and was trying to play around with the different frame rates but was unable to produce either slow or fast motion. I followed the instructions word for word, 720p film cam mode etc., but I think there is a problem with the playback because whenever i change the frame rate to something other than the rate i set it to record at (ie 60 or 12 frames in 720p/24p) it plays back either more smoothly or more strobey. I would go back to school but their closed for the weekend and i have a project due monday. Does anyone have any suggestions?
