Clip plays in L&T canvas but does not transfer…
I have a clip in my L&T que. There is a red exclamation next to this clip. When I hover over the mark it reads “error:unknown”. The clip plays just fine in the canvas.
I originally brought the original raw P2 card data to my hard drive via the dual adapter. I then tried to log and transfer the data into FCP. This is the only clip that this has happened to out of many.
I tried new project files, L&T preferences, in and out points, etc. but nothing is working.
If I can watch it, I know it is real. How do I use it?

Go to the Log and Transfer perferences and uncheck the box that says ‘remove duplicate/redundant frames’ and try again.

I have unchecked the “remove advanced pulldown and duplicate frames” box, and it still does not transfer.
Any Other Ideas?

What format is your scratch drive? Make sure it’s Mac OS Extended otherwise a long clip won’t get created due to the 4GB file size limit of FAT32.
When you format drives, it totally erases the drive, so make sure to back up your information.
