So we are shooting with (2) HVX200s simultaneously.

I need help with the P2 card footage transfer workflow.

We shoot to P2 card… then what?

We have a MacPowerbook with limited memory available, and an empty hard drive.

Do we need to format the hard drive especially for our P2 footage?
Can we drag and drop from the P2 card to the hard drive?

Total newbie…need lots of help. Any that you can provide would be much appreciated.

My suggestion is to test the workflow before you shoot. This way you can work out any wrinkles in advance. Also, search the Cow for the many suggestions of how to sync your 2 cameras during the shoot. It will make your editing life much easier.
