Firestore to P2 problems ~
I’ve tried looking for any help on this
we use the Firestore fs-100
we also have a P2 card we use for smaller thingswell during an event the usual Firestore crap happened where files become un-readable
however i noticed that we could play and watch the file thru the firestore into the camerai called firestore and they said i could copy the bad files to the p2
did that
now final cut pro won’t log and transfer the footage probably….
like i get video no audio
choppy footage etcdoes anyone know the process for this case ?/

What are all your settings? Sounds like a mismatch between the Firestore’s footage and the camera’s settings.

it could be
basically i took my firestore and i connected it to the camera
pressed play record on the cameraand than play on the firestore
which recorded it to my p2 card…when i play back the p2 card it plays fine
to get it into fcp…well that’s another storyit’s coming up in log and transfer
but it will also play thru in log and capture
problem with that is it shuts off with timebreak errors -
What was your shooting mode when you recorded to the Firestore?
How was the Firestore setup?
