  • Scale one letter up at a time in a wipe style?

Posted by Helena Masterson on May 3, 2013 at 9:18 pm

I’m trying to scale up one letter at a time in a word. For example if it read ‘WORD’, I would like to scale W up the down then O up and down etc so that it looks like the letters pop up and down one at a time in a wipe style. I cant find a preset for this although Im using CS4. Is there a way to do this? Maybe an expression?

Thanks for the reply. I’ve tried setting the scale and start options in the animate scale option but im having trouble finding the right settings. I cant seem to get it to scale up and down one letter at a time to get the effect I want. Could you suggest which parameters would be maybe best to try and adjust, as there are other options to change?

Helena, here is a screen capture of the text effect I think you are describing. Analyze it in order to recreate it on your system.

    Good luck!
