  • Edit “Output To” setting on Render Item, through scripting

I am scripting with .jsx code, and I can’t figure out how to tell the render queue WHERE I want the movie rendered to. If you were doing it manually, you would edit the “Output to” setting on the item in the render queue. How can I do this through scripting? THanks

You do this via the output module object’s file property.

For an example, take a look at the “Change Render Locations.jsx” script included with After Effects.
