    Greetings
I purchased a Panasonic HVX200 earlier this year. I updated the driver and installed it into my Mac, ran a test via Internal Apple Cardbus and everything was great.
Recently my Mac crashed, so I re-installed Tiger 10.4.11 and Final Cut Pro 5.1. I then downloaded the driver software from Panasonic, but now the Mac won’t recognize the P2 card.
    Any ideas?

    Thanks

It’s a driver issue- try again with the updates. Here’s the latest:

I’ve tried installing a new driver, but nothing happens. I’ve been through the install process half a dozen times now. Still, the P2 card does not show up on my desktop. Any idea how to do a systems check?
I know that it worked before my computer crashed. Why not now?

    Thanks
    Dave

It was a hardware issue. The ribbon cable from the PCI card slot to the board was loose. I opened up the computer and found the problem.
    Thanks for your help.
    Cheers
