erase P2 content from macbook pro
Hello,
I have been trying to figure out how to erase P2 content from
my powerbook pro. During our shoot, we transfer our footage to
my laptop and later on at night we store it on an external hard drive and the process of deleting the P2 files from the laptop is just very slow and painful (unlocking each and every file
on the P2 might take a long time).
Does anyone have an idea of how to delete the files (without formatting the P2) on a powerbook? If you do, I would greatly
appreciate if you let me know.

When you empty the trash hold down the OPTION KEY. That ignores the locks.
But there is now a Mac P2 card formatter on the Panasonic website. It can be found here

Regrettably, the P2 Contents Formatter for the Mac is not yet supported under Leopard.
