    hello

    basic curves question:

when I’m in the curve editor, sometimes I have access to the option “break curve into xyx” components (or something like that)–and that automatically gives me free bezier handles to tweak curves.

    see reference image at:

sometimes, that option is greyed out, and no matter which curve interpolation options I choose, these little kinks in the curves (circled in attached image) will not go away.

these particular curves are for the X,Y coordinates of a plexus primitive, if that’s a clue (although this happens to me often, in various situations it seems…)

    thanks for your help!

See “Separate dimensions of Position to animate components individually”. This feature is just for the Position property.

    cool thanks for that

can you offer any tips on the issue of “kinks” in curves that just won’t go away (regardless of interpolation type?)

    thx again
