I am having a huge issue, I have a clip that is irreparable via the camera, and I’ve tried the demo modes of HD LOG and P2 LOG to see if they could repair them, to no avail. What if anything can I do next to try to repair a clip that is broken?

This is a serious fault because this clip worked and now it doesn’t, and it unfortunately is an important clip. Is there anything, anything at all I can do?

No advice yet – just seeking some clarity.

When you say the clip worked, under what conditions were you referring? Did you download it and view it in an NLE program? If so, which one? Or did you just do a playback from the camera while on the set and it seemed fine?

It looks like what happened was the battery on our Steadicam rig went down causing the camera and everything else to go down as well, so we lost all the information on the shot. But I wasn’t on set when this all happened and it wasn’t brought to my attention. So I transfered the cards and lost the important information on that shot. It’s too bad too, but not a big deal financially, thankfully. We can make up the shot at no major expense to us. Thanks for your response
