I have been working with the P2 cards since August and now they won’t upload into my computer. I go to the PC mode get to device connect and mount the no name folders on the desk top but when I try to drag them into their folder no info transfers and all I get are blank contents and last clip.txt folders. I don’t get it. I have tried to shift/option and draag, just option and drag and just drag and still nothing. Can anyone help, help… Rick M

So, you open the cards, drag the entire CONTENTS and LASTCLIP file to your hard drive…in a separate folder per card…and what happens? Does it take 4 min or more to transfer? Or seconds? Or does anything happen?

How is the drive you are copying to formatted? Try MacOS Extended. They might be formatted FAT32 with a file size limit and the cards are too big to copy over.

    just a thought

The drives are OS 10 extended and I have been using them for quite a while both on location and in my suite with no problem until now and on both my Mac powerbook and desktop. I mount the cards from the PC mode and they show up. I click on the top one and while holding shift/command, I drag them to the P2 folder I have created for them and all I get is the no name icon and no upload starts as it used to. Now I did this a number of times and finally, last night, they uploaded to the drive off my laptop. Go figure. Have I messed up the steps? I just don’t get all this voodoo… RM
