  hpx500 frame size?

  does the hpx500 produce the same image size as the the hvx200? (960X720)? or is it true 1280 X 720?

  DVCProHD 720P is 960X720 so even varicam to tape will be this size.

  The HPX500 always processes 1920×1080 internally. It then downrezzes to the recording format.

  When recording 720, it records 960×720.

  When recording 1080, it records 1440×1080@50i/25p, or 1280×1080@60i/30p/24p.
