  FCP Converting 720 to 480 in sequence?

  I’m shooting 720PN on my HVX200 and as I drop the clip in the sequence it renders it to 480. I’m sure there is a setting that I’m just missing, but can anyone help? Thanks!

  Your sequence settings are obviously DV. Go to the Final Cut Pro menu, choose EASY SETUP. Pick the Easy Setup that matches your footage, click OK. Make a new sequence. Drop your clips into that sequence.

  I do believe you just changed my life..thanks so much…I did change that earlier this week, but hadn’t opened a new sequence.
