We have a 5 camera HD shoot coming up and we will be doing a live switch.
I am using 3 varicams and would like to incorporate 2 HVX200’s. Is this possible? Can I come out of the HVX HD analog and convert to HD SDI? These would be handheld stage cameras.
    Thoughts?

What are you going to do for GenLock? Or are you using a switcher that is a frame-synchronizer?

Hmm, good question. Not sure if there is a HD switcher out that is frame-synchronized.

As far as HD switchers go For-a and Panasonic have some nice affordable ones with frame sync options. Maybe the dealer can hook you up with a rental configured with your needs.
