Hi, I m shooting a serial with the HVX200. I buy an external disk 250g maxtor, and I copy the information to disk previously formated by the camera. I copy the footage ok several times, but now the camera displays : too many partitions. And I can’t copy any more. The disk is only 30% used.

What can I do with the other 70 % of disk not used. ?

    Thanks

    Hi,

The camera will make 15 partitions into which it will copy one card per partition. If you have 4 GB cards that would give you 60 GBs of data. That is all you will be able to use on the drive. If you had 8GB cards, it would use 120GB of space, but still that would be the largest drive you would need.

    Hope this helps,
