  MXF vrs. LaCie vrs Avid 5.5

  Hello guys,

  I am an editor an I’ve got 90 hours of footage from a Panasonic P2 camera. During the shooting days, we were storaging the dailies into LaCie HDs of 2 TB. Everything was ok when we were checking the footage with both P2 Log and HD Log. But when we started to edit, we realize that some media (after organize it into Avid MediaFiles/MFX/1) wasn’t readed at Media Tool. Do you think it could be a problem with the ownership of the external HD? How can i fix it?

  Now all I need is the Avid software so that I can play around with the footage on an Avid and see how that all works. Because I’d really like to help you, but…
