I forgot to ask the Panasonic techs at the DV EXPO show if I could “print to tape” from a NLE system (FCP) in the DVCPRO HD format back to the P2 card in the Panasonic HVX200, or would I have to use the 1200A deck?

That would be useful for short work. What would really be cool
is to be able to off-load an entire show to a file and then with
a cheap $100 firewire drive, take that to a post house where you
could dump to some form of HD tape. I have seen some work flows that
have file sequences and then reconform them at an on-line facility.
