Insufficient RAM for multiprocessing
Posted by Marc Yap on March 20, 2013 at 4:07 pmMy AE cs5.5 says I have insufficient ram for multiprocessing when I try to do a ram preview .. I am running 8core AMD cpu and 32gb of ram .. my OS is win7 64bit .. It says that my actual cpus being used is 0 in the multiprocessing setup.

March 20, 2013 at 9:27 pmThat’s odd.
Try resetting you preferences to defaults and quitting all other applications, and then try again.

March 21, 2013 at 4:45 amI opened up AE blank without a project .. and it works .. what could be the problem why it doesn’t work on my current project? The comp is at 720p

March 21, 2013 at 6:55 amIt’s a quirky situation as far as I know. But there’s certainly something in the AEP that’s causing this issue. Plugins etc are of course a primary candidate.
