  Pixel art style titles

  Ok so I am currently editing a short doc on an artist and want to use his them of pixel art as part of the titles. I would like to have my text in a grid format like pixels and have the squares within the grids to be either two or three different colours alternating.

  I have only really dipped my feet in the water with after effects in the past so any suggestions are appreciated as to how may accomplish this effects, thanks.

  Till now what I understood from your explanation is that you want your text to be filled with Pixels of different colors. Tell me if I am wrong?

  I have created an example:

  5525_usingcoloredgridalphamatte.zip

  I have used a multicolored grid. You can create your own with simple solids and Grid effect. Then use CC RepeTile.

  Cool effect Vishesh, thanks for the tip. This is similar to what I want however I want to be able to animate the squares in order to alternate the colour if that is at all possible?

  May be Hue/Saturation Effect would help.
