  23:40 Out of memory

  I’m using Adobe After Effects CS5 to do some animation and every time I try to use the Puppet Pin Tool, I get the “23:40 out of memory” message and then my composition goes black.
  I figured I needed more RAM so I had 16GB installed (which I later found out was too much for my model — but this does not effect my computer, it just has some extra RAM it’s not using) but it still doesn’t work.

  I have a MacbookPro OSX 10.6.7; 2.7GHz Intel Core i7; 16GB Memory

  I also freed up 70 GB of memory on my computer AND opened the secret preferences option to purge every 15 frames.

  And still I get that annoying message. Please help!

  What are the settings for the Puppet effect, most importantly the Triangles value? If that value is too high, you can run into such problems.

  Also, have you installed the latest updates ( https://adobe.ly/lsrkmJ )? They fix a lot of problems.
