  output video size…

  i created my 1st video with after effects recently
  it was a short 10 seconds composition
  but the output video size was around 700MB
  please let me know what settings to be kept for making output video smaller with same quality…

  For starters take a look at these 2 FAQ: FAQ: Why is my output file huge, and why doesn’t it play back smoothly in a media player?

  Also FAQ: What is the best format for rendering and exporting from After Effects?

  After reading those, the main question for render/compression what are you trying to achieve with your renders? Do you need to deliver this somebody, is it for broadcast, youtube or you just want to render out the video to see something you created.
