  • How do I motion track a footage that has wiggle expression applied to it???

I needa put a thought bubble on me (in the footage) and I need it to always stay above my head. But I find it hard – problem is, I made a fake shaky effect by applying wiggle expression to it but when I double click on my footage to bring up the Layer panel so that I can do motion tracking for the thought bubble, the video is not affected by the shaky effect 🙁 I need to both have wiggle and motion tracking FX at once. But how? i even tried precompose all the relevant layers but still, when u double click on the footage, no wiggle is in it. Helpp!! ty

    1. First motion track your footage.
Apply the tracking data to a Null Object.

    2. Now Parent the buble to the null object.

    3. Precomp all three layers and now apply wiggle expresiion to the precomp.

Alternately, once the null has the tracking data applied parent it to the footage layer, then apply the wiggle to the footage layer and parent the thought bubble to the null.
