I’m doing some rotto work and as i’m going through frame by frame random frames just come up dark green. I might happen one time on a particular frame and then not the next on the same frame.

Needless to say it wreaking havoc with the rotto.

Anyone had an issue like this before.

The comp is dynamically linked from premiere.

As requested here is the extra info:

    • After Effects CS6 Version 11.0.2.11
    • Mac OS X Version 10.7.5
    • iMac 3.4Ghz i7
    • 16GB Ram
    • Footage: 1280×720 .MXF (dynamically linked from Premiere)
    • I’m running Premiere at the same time
    • I’ve run into the problem again; It was after I had done my rotoscoping and as I was adding ‘Background’ elements to the composite (Pre-keyed stock footage which come as PNG Sequences) these green error frames come up in seemingly ramdom places and rotoscope work I’ve done and moved on from gets all screwed up as a result.

      thanks

Luke – did you ever get this problem solved? I’m having the same issue but didn’t see anything after you posted your system settings.

You are two major bug-fix updates behind. The latest version of CS6 is 11.0.4
As a first step, I would suggest updating.

You could ditch version 11 entirely and upgrade to version 12.2.1 (After Effects CC) instead… 😉
