Why can’t you change the color of white to other color using Change to Color effect?
I wanna change the color white in my footage by using the From: color picker onto the white part and then when I select green in the To:, my white still remains white, however it changes the color closest to white into green. It just messes up my footage. Why on earth is this happening? lol Please help me 🙁 I’m stuck here and I couldn’t progress on my video works.

To summarize, why I cannot change white color to other color using the Change to Color effect? It doesn’t work for white, is it?

Oh I got it!
In the Effects Control menu, in Change to Color Effect use “Hue,Lightness and Saturation” instead of “Hue”.
Then in Tolerance, Bring down Saturation 1% or 2%.
Though this will effect the overall color of your footage as it will affect the luminance value of other colors too.
