  Knit and embroidery effects and animations?

  Hello,

  I’m working on a title sequence about fabrics and textiles, and I was wondering if there were any tutorials or techniques to look like things are being embroidered or knitted? Knitting is proving harder to come by and I would really like to add my of text to some knitting without commissioning someone to knit it as it’s (obviously) fast turn around!

  The knitting part though may be tricky – all I can think of is to use ShapeShifter AE and a animated displacement mask combined with an animated texture that can give the impression of the text being knitted.
