I have an iPad Pro and pencil, be great if i can use them to draw lines/shapes in Motion via Astropad or Duet
but cant seem to find any info on the possibilities of using either

anyone have experience or knowledge of either app working well with the Motion interface and iPad Pro/pencil?

I have all four. If anything, you’ll want Astropad, not Duet. Duet is meant to be more of just a desktop extension (second monitor for e.g. a MacBook) compared to Astropad which is specifically aimed at illustrators and the likes. Using Astropad to draw in Motion (or anywhere else that supports e.g. Wacoms), pressure and all, is totally possible, if not perfect. I think due to lag it tends to make angular sections when e.g. drawing a circle.

I just actually just backed their “Luna Display” Kickstarter ( https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/767721702/luna-display ) and am very curious to see if that irons out the last little performance niggles I have left. But even as it is, I MUCH prefer it over my Wacom Intuos.
