  Any way to get the “darker color” blend mode (ala’ Photoshop)?

  Got some PSD art that uses “darker color” composite mode in Photoshop. There’s no equivalent in Motion, and I can’t find any plugins to achieve. Any ideas?

  I’d say your only option is to rasterize before importing.

  Unfortunately the PSDs are used for a “paint reveal” effect, with “ink” first followed by color. The color layers use darken transfer mode.

  I even searched for a plugin that offers darken mode, but no joy.

  Thanks, though.

  (PS – moral to the story is check the first approval file ALL THE WAY through the process. sigh.)

  I don’t get it though. There IS a “darken” blend mode in Motion.
