  stopping the Play

  Hi, ????
  Many times I hit the spacebar to stop the playback; but playback keeps on going.
  Then when I click in the timeline area and push the spacebar, it will stop.

  I either do that or —-
  I have to push ” Command 7″ two times. Once to get turn off the view to timeline and then once to turn on timeline.

  Is this normal? Am I doing something wrong?

  Hi ????
  For you viewers, I found out there are no preset shortcuts.

  But my work around is with yKey (formally iKey). Just create a short cut that hits command 7, pause, command 7, pause, & then spacebar. Put it all under one key command — possibly “command spacebar”.
